Caradove Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of Caradove. By tapping “I Agree & Continue,” creating an account, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 18 years old. A caregiver setting up Caradove for another adult confirms that they have permission to do so and must identify themselves as the caregiver during setup.
2. Companion app only
Caradove is a companion app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. AI responses, scans, reminders, charts, records, and alerts may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. They do not replace your own awareness or instructions, schedules, care plans, and records maintained by you, a caregiver, nurse, doctor, specialist, or healthcare facility.
Caradove does not replace a human being. It is not a nurse, a caregiver, a doctor, a care agency, or a nursing or healthcare facility, and it does not take over any responsibility belonging to one. It is not a replacement for family, for a visit, or for human company of any kind. It is intended to sit alongside the people in someone's life, never in place of them, and it must not be relied on as the primary way a person is cared for or watched over.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always verify medication information against the current medicine label and pharmacist's instructions. Do not start, stop, or change medication based on Caradove. In an emergency or if you feel seriously unwell, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not wait for the app.
3. Accounts, information, and permissions
- Give accurate information and update it when it changes.
- Protect access to your phone and account. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized use.
- Only add another person's information when you have permission.
- Camera, microphone, notifications, contacts, and location features are optional unless a selected feature needs them. The app explains the purpose before requesting sensitive access.
- You remain responsible for reviewing scans and automatically filled fields before saving.
How we collect, use, retain, share, secure, export, and delete information is explained in the Privacy Policy. You may initiate account deletion in the app or at our Account Deletion page.
Uninstalling Caradove is not the same as deleting your account. Uninstalling removes the app and its local data from that phone. Your account and cloud data remain so they are available if you reinstall. Use “Delete my account & data” or the Account Deletion page to erase them.
4. Reminders, safety features, and communications
Notifications, calls, reminders, fall detection, location assistance, caregiver alerts, and similar features are best-effort secondary aids. Delivery can fail because of connectivity, device settings, battery restrictions, permissions, carrier outages, or service outages. Keep your usual real-world reminder, safety, and record-keeping systems.
You control optional monitoring and caregiver-sharing features in Settings. Emergency calling and messaging may incur carrier charges. Caradove cannot guarantee that a person or emergency service will receive or respond to any alert.
The alert system is a secondary safety net, and it can fail. A call, text, or email to your family may be delayed, undelivered, or never sent at all. We never diagnose anything — when something looks concerning, all we do is tell the people you chose. Please do not rely on it as the main way your loved one is watched over: it does not replace a hospital, a care facility, a doctor, a caregiver, your family's own care, or your own responsibility.
5. Where our numbers come from
When Caradove tells you a reading is high or low, it is repeating what recognized medical bodies publish — it never decides that itself, and it is not a clinical judgment about you.

These are public documents you or your family can look up. If those bodies change their guidance, we change ours. Caradove does not measure any of these values itself — readings are entered by you or read from a document you photograph, and the app does not use the phone's sensors to measure blood pressure, blood sugar, temperature, or blood oxygen.
6. AI, scans, and third-party content
Caradove uses automated systems and third-party service providers. AI-generated content can be inaccurate. Verify important information with a trusted source or qualified professional.
Movies, music, videos, news, events, maps, websites, and other third-party content are provided for convenience. Availability and accuracy can change, and third-party terms may apply. Caradove does not own or endorse third-party content merely because it appears in the app.
7. Plans, trials, and purchases
Some features require a paid plan. Current prices, trial length, renewal terms, and included features are shown before purchase. Purchases and cancellations are also subject to the rules of the app store or payment provider used for the transaction. Prices or features may change after notice where required, but changes do not override rights provided by law.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with security, access another person's account without permission, upload unlawful or harmful material, reverse engineer the service where prohibited, or use Caradove to harm, deceive, harass, or exploit another person. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with law.
9. Availability, changes, and termination
We work to keep Caradove available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may repair, update, suspend, or discontinue features. If Terms materially change, we will update the date and request renewed agreement when appropriate. You may stop using Caradove and delete your account at any time.
10. Disclaimers and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caradove is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be error-free or meet every need. Air Duct Cleaning Miami is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Please read this part carefully
Caradove is a companion and reminder app. It is not a caregiver, a nurse, a doctor, an alarm company, or a monitoring service, and it is never a substitute for a person. It can be wrong, it can be late, and it can be silent — a reminder can fail to arrive, a scan can be misread, and an alert to your family can be delayed or never sent at all. You agree not to rely on it as anyone's primary source of safety.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you use Caradove at your own risk, and you agree to release and hold harmless Caradove, its owners, shareholders, officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or damage arising out of your use of the app — including anything the app got wrong, anything it failed to do, and any alert that did not reach anyone. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
